Once again,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/international.gebruikercentraal.nl\/recap-user-needs-first-international-conference-2025\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">some 700+ colleagues from all over the world got together<\/a>\u00a0\u2013 this time in Amsterdam. It was the second big partnership between the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/international.gebruikercentraal.nl\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Dutch User Needs First community<\/a>\u00a0and the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/international.gov-design.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">International Design in Government community<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Digital Service and work from Germany were well represented at the 3-day event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We were involved in:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>2 panels<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2 keynotes<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2 talks<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 podcast<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>I recorded the keynotes and talks. The panels, which Charlotte took part in, were not recorded, unfortunately. I understand that the podcast will be published shortly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>My colleagues Marlene and Sonja gave an in-detail recap of 2 years of work on the access to justice service transformation. For 1 hour, they shared how they aim to make the German justice system more user-centred. They presented their viewpoint on digitalising legal aid and reported how their scope continues to grow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed alignwide is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"How we aim to make the German justice system more user-centred while digitalising legal aid\" width=\"750\" height=\"422\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/TbqmDFs5N_w?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>An hour later, designer Paul Pistorius shared his triangle of success. He presented a version of the <a href=\"https:\/\/digitalgovernmenthub.org\/publications\/formfest-2024-recap-international-work-on-human-centered-form-design\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">talk that had already been presented at Form Fest<\/a> with engineer Julian. The talk presents a model of stakeholder and user inclusion in the form design process. It also summarises learnings from work on tax forms and justice forms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed alignwide is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Triangle of success \u2013 involving the right parties in the form design process\" width=\"750\" height=\"422\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/OzYSoNq7-kc?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Closing day 2 of the conference, Digital Service\u2019s CPO Stephanie gave a keynote on the \u2018change through delivery\u2019 approach we have followed for the past few years.
